This is more day-of paid parking from nearby communities and buildings than official reserved parking. Last year, nearby options in this area were roughly $20-$40 per car. These are close enough to walk without turning the day into a hike.

What To Wear
This is not just a theme. UGA announced that Georgia will wear white helmets, white jerseys, and white pants for the first time in school history against Western Kentucky. White is the move if you have it, but UGA gear, red, black, or actual regular clothes all count.

People will probably be scattered around the stadium, so we are not trying to coordinate one big ticket block. In the past, we have had success using a ticket purchasing app on game day to find tickets in smaller groups.
Prices for these games can sometimes get low on game day. Last year upper deck seats got as low as about $35 per person; lower bowl was more. The white out may drive prices higher, but who knows, it will be hot. Also, some people are just tailgating and not going into the game, and anyone is welcome to do that too.

We will have a nugget tray, buffalo chicken dip, chips, donuts, apple juices, bubbies for the kids, and beer for the adults.
Bring a water bottle for the tailgate. If you are taking water into Sanford, UGA allows one unopened bottle of water, 20 oz or less. Clear bags larger than 12x12 are prohibited.

Tailgate-Only Plan
Some people are just coming for the tailgate and not going into the stadium, which is completely fine. The tailgate shuts down at kickoff, so Tate Center, the SLC, the bookstore, and the Athens extras above are good options after that.

Tailgate hours are 8am to 12:45 p.m. Dawg Walk will probably be around 10:30-10:45 near Tate, and kickoff is at 12:45 p.m. The tailgate will shut down at kickoff. Getting there before Dawg Walk is recommended because it is fun for the kids and foot traffic picks up a lot around then.

Be ready for Dawg Walk, the Lone Trumpeter, calling the Dawgs, Baba O'Riley, the pregame montage, and seeing the field Between the Hedges. If it is your first time, walking in low is a good way to see the hedges.

Miller Learning Center, and the UGA Bookstore. The bookstore is also a good spot for last-minute Georgia gear.
Around Athens, good quick stops include The Arch, the Chapel Bell, North Campus, Downtown Athens, and the Tree That Owns Itself. Remember: it is considered bad luck to walk under The Arch until you have graduated from UGA.
