This is more day-of paid parking from nearby communities and buildings than official reserved parking. Last year, nearby options in this area were roughly $20-$40 per car. These are close enough to walk without turning the day into a hike.

Timing

Plan around Dawg Walk

Set-up: we will be officially set up by 8am.
Dawg Walk: probably around 10:30-10:45 near the Tate area.
Arrive early: getting there before Dawg Walk is recommended because it is fun for the kids and foot traffic picks up a lot around then.
Kickoff: 12:45 p.m.
Traffic: if you are close after 10:15, expect slow turns and some blocked movement.

What To Wear

Georgia history, in all white

This is not just a theme. UGA announced that Georgia will wear white helmets, white jerseys, and white pants for the first time in school history against Western Kentucky. White is the move if you have it, but UGA gear, red, black, or actual regular clothes all count.

Tickets

Game-day prices may drop

There will be too many people to coordinate tickets all together, but this has been my experience in the past: ticket prices for these games can get low on game day. Last year upper deck seats got as low as about $35 per person; lower bowl was more.

The white out may drive prices higher. Who knows, though, it will be hot. Also, some people are just tailgating and not going into the game, and anyone is welcome to do that too.

Food, Drinks, Shade

Bring yourself. Snacks are optional.

We will have a nugget tray, buffalo chicken dip, chips, donuts, apple juices, bubbies for the kids, and beer for the adults.

Stadium water rule

Bring a water bottle for the tailgate. If you are taking water into Sanford, UGA allows one unopened bottle of water, 20 oz or less. Clear bags larger than 12x12 are prohibited.
